Sensor place card

When you click directly on an AirScape sensor, the place card displays real-time air quality measurements taken at that exact location. This is the most accurate data available, measured directly by our monitoring equipment.

What you'll see

The sensor place card shows:

  • Current AQI: The Air Quality Index value right now
  • Pollutant breakdown: Individual readings for PM2.5, PM10, NO2, and O3
  • Leaf rating: Long-term air quality assessment for this location
  • Trend indicators: Whether air quality is improving or worsening
  • Last updated: When the reading was taken (typically within minutes)

Sensor information

Each sensor place card also displays:

  • Sensor ID: Unique identifier for the monitoring device
  • Location details: Address or description of where the sensor is installed
  • Installation date: How long the sensor has been collecting data
  • Data history: Access to historical readings and trends

Real-time accuracy

Sensor readings are:

  • Updated every few minutes
  • Measured directly at street level
  • Calibrated regularly for accuracy
  • Cross-referenced with nearby sensors for quality control

Actions available

From a sensor place card, you can:

  • Save to My Places: Track this location over time
  • Share: Send a link to this sensor's data
  • View history: See air quality trends over days, weeks, or months
  • Compare: Add to comparison with other locations
